BMW Group Malaysia Enhances Premium Ownership Experience with the Relocation of Lee Motors to New Retail.NEXT Showroom and EV Charging Expansion.

Lee Motors officially unveils its newly relocated Retail.NEXT showroom, while BMW Group Malaysia strengthens its charging network with new electric vehicle charging stations in Alor Setar.

Kuala Lumpur, 19th January 2026 – BMW Group Malaysia strengthens its commitment to premium mobility in Northern Malaysia with two major announcements – the newly relocated Lee Motors showroom in Alor Setar, Kedah, embodying the Retail.NEXT concept, alongside the establishment of a new charging station in partnership with DC Handal. These developments demonstrate BMW Group Malaysia's dedication to providing a holistic Premium Ownership Experience through enhanced customer facilities for all customers, as well as seamless charging accessibility for EV owners.

 

Lee Motors Relocates to New State-of-the-Art Retail.NEXT Showroom in Alor Setar.

Lee Motors’ newly relocated dealership is situated at 218, Jalan Gangsa, Kawasan Perusahaan Mergong II, 05150, Alor Setar, Kedah. Designed in line with the Retail.NEXT concept, the all-new 50,000 square-foot dealership features a Sales & Service Lounge, Handover Lounge, Hospitality Area, and Service Reception (RATC). It also offers enhanced service capabilities, including Sales, Service, Spare Parts, Authorised Body & Paint, and Financial Services to ensure a holistic premium ownership experience with greater convenience and accessibility for customers at every step of their journey. With a dedicated team of 50 professionals across various departments, Lee Motors is equipped to meet the needs of both new and returning customers, while continuing to deliver high standards of service and customer care.

The facility has been Green Building Certified under the GreenRE Bronze category, emphasising Lee Motors' commitment to sustainability. Furthermore, the expanded space allows for future capacity planning, ensuring that the facility can accommodate growth beyond its current annual sales volume of between 200 to 250 units and meet the growing demands of customers in Kedah for years to come. The showroom operates daily between 9:00AM to 5:30PM from Monday to Sunday. Meanwhile, the service centre’s operating hours are from 9:00AM to 5:30PM from Sunday to Friday, with the exception of Saturday.

BMW Group Malaysia Expands Charging Network in Alor Setar, Kedah.

In addition to the relocation of Lee Motors to New Retail.NEXT Showroom, BMW Group Malaysia has established a new charging station to enhance EV infrastructure in Alor Setar. Operated by DC Handal through a partnership with Lee Motors, the charging station features one 180 kW DC fast charger and two 60 kW DC chargers, with charging rates starting at RM1.30 per kWh, offering fast and reliable charging options to meet the growing needs of EV owners in Kedah.

As of 2025, BMW Group Malaysia has introduced over 2,000 charging facilities nationwide. Earlier this year, the premium automaker also expanded its charging network in Putrajaya and Kuala Lumpur, working with several key Charge Point Operators to strengthen electric charging accessibility in these high-traffic areas.
