BMW MALAYSIA INTRODUCES PREMIUM CAR CARE PROGRAMMES FOR PEACE-OF-MIND OWNERSHIP EXPERIENCE.

Premium automaker strengthens the BMW Malaysia premium ownership experience with attractive engine oil and maintenance parts programmes in collaboration with Shell Malaysia.
 
Kuala Lumpur, 25th August 2020 – BMW Malaysia today, in collaboration with Shell Malaysia, introduced its latest BMW engine oil service and maintenance parts programmes that feature the premium Shell Helix Ultra Professional ABB 5W-40 Engine Oil.

Shell continues to be a strategic partner to the BMW brand globally, and this partnership has allowed us to both deliver the best in value and service to customers nationwide,” said Harald Hoelzl, Managing Director of BMW Group Malaysia.
 
Shell, the top lubricant supplier in the world for the past 13 consecutive years and the largest provider of finished lubricants to automakers, became the sole recommended supplier of genuine BMW branded engine oil and aftermarket engine oils for all brands within the BMW Group in the region, since 2015.
 
“We are delighted that our latest collaboration with BMW is now further enhanced with the launch of this programme in Malaysia. Our new Shell Helix Professional range is formulated specifically for car manufacturers that demand a top-quality engine oil which meets their unique specification requirements.  BMW Malaysia’s decision to select the fully synthetic Shell Helix Ultra Professional ABB 5W-40 as the programme’s recommended engine oil will ensure that BMW owners continue to enjoy the Sheer Driving Pleasure synonymous with the marque,” said Nyon Kam Yew, Shell Lubricants General Manager for Malaysia and Singapore.
 
The new programme offers long-term BMW owners two new attractive packages – the BMW Oil Service Package and the BMW Service Value Package. The BMW Oil Service package features the Shell Helix Ultra Professional ABB 5W-40 Engine Oil – which protects and extends the lifespan of high-performance engines. The engine oil is formulated with the unique PurePlus Technology, a revolutionary process that delivers crystal clear base oil made from natural gas with virtually no impurities. 
 
The product also features Shell’s Active Cleansing Technology which helps to protect engines from power and performance-robbing deposits. On top of this, the low-evaporation formulation of Shell Helix Ultra Professional ABB 5W-40 also offers less frequent oil top-ups, on top of a superior resistance to oil degradation.
 
With the purchase of two BMW Oil Service packages, priced at RM500 per package, customers can also look forward to bringing home a complimentary Limited-Edition BMW M4 Motorsport Collectible Remote Car worth RM250 – while stocks last.
 
Meanwhile, the BMW Service Value package offers long-term BMW vehicle owners an attractive programme with up to 30% off retail price, for Original BMW maintenance parts, such as brakes, wipers, spark plugs, as well as micro filters and air filters.
