Commanding power, silky smooth running and a stirring sound are the hallmarks of the new BMW TwinPower Turbo inline 6-cylinder petrol engine from the BMW EfficientDynamics engine range. With Double-VANOS, Valvetronic, High-Precision Injection and a TwinScroll turbocharger, it generates 240 kW (326 hp) and has an average combined fuel consumption rate of 7.0 to 6.6 litres per 100 km.

BMW TWINPOWER TURBO 4-CYLINDER PETROL ENGINE.

The 4-cylinder petrol engines in the BMW 7 Series Sedan boast high dynamics and low fuel consumption – thanks to BMW TwinPower Turbo technologies. This innovation package from BMW EfficientDynamics uses Valvetronic fully-variable valve control and petrol direct injection to reduce consumption, while TwinScroll turbochargers and the double-VANOS simultaneously increase performance and response. The figures speak for themselves: the engine in the BMW 730Li provides a powerful 190 kW (258 hp) and accelerates with 400 Nm from 0 to 100 km/h in just 6.3 seconds – with consumption of 6.2 to 5.8 l/100 km and CO2 emissions of 134 g/km
