BMW Malaysia Group offers fresh graduates an entry program for a minimum of 6 months to a maximum of 12 months in various departments. Graduates will gain the exposure of real corporate working culture, and build confidence in dealing with people and working in teams.


We are looking for graduates who are team players, who can undertake project assignments, with a willingness to learn, who possess good communication ability in spoken and written English.


Department offering Trainee Programmes:-


1. Aftersales Department


The Aftersales Department provides service and parts business-related support to our dealers and this encompasses overseeing the management of dealers' service workshops, parts management, providing training to dealers to ensure the BMW standard is adhered to, customer relationship management, warranty management, handling technical matters and IT management systems. Aftersales Trainees will have opportunities to undertake project assignments in any of the areas mentioned above and to enhance their knowledge and skills in technical and service management.


2. Sales Department


Sales is where the real action is, where numbers count, where negotiation takes place and deals are done. Sales Trainees will get the opportunity to work with teams on sales campaigns, sales promotion activities, sales administration and support and process improvement.


3. Marketing Department


Marketing involves product planning, advertising and promotional activities, planning campaigns to increase our sales volume, event launches for our new models, dealer management and development. Marketing Trainees will be working with teams and be involved in projects such as assisting in event preparation and planning, co-coordinating dealer management programs, and customer relationship management.


4. Legal Department


The Legal Department supports and reports to the in-house legal counsels at BMW Germany and also liaises with local external solicitors. In addition, the Legal Department also oversees company secretarial matters and coordinates insurance coverage for various events by providing the necessary and relevant instructions and information to the external parties. Legal Trainees will be involved in preparing, drafting, reviewing and negotiating agreements as well as providing legal advice and support for the various departments under BMW Group Malaysia.


5. Motorrad Department


BMW Motorrad takes care of the sales, marketing, aftersales, dealer development and production planning of our premium BMW motorcycles. Motorrad Trainees will receive a wide range of job responsibilities which include advertising and campaign planning, project planning (such as events and product launches), dealer support and training, motorsports as well as other administrative duties. This will involve working with other departments and the dealers network whilst gaining exposure to and understanding of different lines of work and processes.


6. Regional Training Center (RTC)


The BMW Group Regional Training Center (RTC) based in Cyberjaya offers constant qualification for employees of the BMW Group and the regional dealer organization. Training and advisory services are provided across the fields of technology, sales, aftersales, Brand Behaviour and Management, thus ensuring excellent standards in service and sales. Training Trainees will work in the team and thereby acquire an overview of the entire BMW education and qualification process programs.


7. Parts Distribution Center ( PDC)


The BMW Parts Distribution Center operates out of Port Tanjung Pelepas (PTP) in Johor Bahru. The center distributes our BMW and MINI spare parts, accessories and lifestyle products to all BMW subsidiaries and importers in the Asia Pacific Region. Opportunities for development in this area include undertaking projects involving logistics and warehouse management, improving customer service, cost and quality control.


8. Financial Services


BMW Financial Services based in Damansara Heights offers a full range of financial and insurance products to luxury vehicle owners. We also specialise in hire purchase activities for non-BMW cars and equipment. Financial Services Trainees will have the opportunity to work with various departments, namely finance and insurance, customer relationship management, operations support, and finance and administration.
